THIS WORKSHOP HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
This month long on-line workshop takes place in the pages of my newest mythic tale called "The Joy Weed Journal". You will be invited to read the continuing adventures of Pale Wawae, the Border Witch and character introduced in the story "The Safety Pin Cafe." Using a readers-only private blog and email, adventurous myth-makers will be guided through the process of "eating" a story to make it food-medicine for your personal mythic times. Sensitive blog posts will dig into the meaning of each segment of the myth "The Joy Weed Journal" ... analyzing without over-doing it, the writing and guiding questions will be meant to stimulate rigorous personal exploration; and encourage you to discuss what you find with someone else. That someone might be another person involved in the workshop, but it might also be someone outside the workshop/someone you know and trust.
The goal: Story is most potent when it can be shared and effect others. As this is an experiment it is possible the myth "The Joy Weed Journal" will be added to or change because You make a difference in the shaping of Pale Wawae's journey. There is room for that. Above all this workshop is intended to leave you with respect for yourself, appreciation for the experiences of your life and the dreams you are given to make real. Individually our experience affect the collective the whole. These are mythic times and we were made for this!

BIJOUX O KE KAI ... My son Christopher Kawika Brown and his partner Laurence "Laulau" Gilbert have an Etsy shop. In their words, "We are a couple with Normand and Hawaiian roots. We are working to create beauty with shells, stones and sea glass from local beaches, spending hours on beach clean-up. In our designs, we endeavor to maintain the vitality of the sea while offering something from our efforts. O ke kai in Hawaiian means: from, or of the sea.
